FAQs

how far in advance should I book my bridal makeup?

I know that when you get engaged you may want to get your suppliers booked in as soon as possible! I am able to get your date booked in two years in advance of your big day. I just require a non-refundable deposit of to secure your date- your trial is included in the deposit and the remainder is taken off your final invoice, which I send to you a month or so before the big day.

When should I book my trial?

I will be in touch with a variety of dates when it is time to book your trial in. I usually hold trials at the start of the year when as I get booked up in the spring/summer months. However I will always try and accommodate you and your schedule.

Do I have to travel to you?

I hold bridal makeup trials at my home studio in Fordingbridge, Hampshire. However I will travel to your wedding venue on your big day of the wedding. There are some terms and conditions such as should I have to travel further than 2 hours, I will require an overnight stay, and I will ask for my travel to be covered. However I will provide you with a full quote when you enquire to book my services for your wedding day.

What are your favourite products to use?

I have a wide variety of products in my kit and I am continuously adding new launches each month. I mostly use luxury brands such as Nars, Hourglass, Chantecaille, Charlotte Tilbury and Laura Mercier. I will always recommend touch up products for the evening such as a beautiful lipstick or face powder. However, your makeup will be designed to last all day, so please don’t worry about replicating my whole kit!

What will happen on the morning of my wedding?

I will discuss this all with you at your trial and send a timetable to you prior to your wedding, but I will arrive with plenty of time so you never feel rushed or panicked on your big day. I will then set my kit up, ideally on a table near a window as I will need plenty of natural light to create your flawless look.

Can I pay you on the day?

I will ask for payment at least one month before your big day - nobody wants to worry about paying their suppliers on their wedding day!
