Wedding Stories

  • Where do you travel to do bridal makeup?

You’ll mostly find Grace travelling to venues across Dorset and Hampshire, and living on the edge of New Forest means Grace is just a stones throw from some beautiful wedding venues.

Somerley Estate is just 5 minutes from her studio, and St Giles House, Pylewell Park, Came House, Parley Manor and Syrencot House are all venues Grace works at regularly.

Although Grace is based in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, she travels far and wide and would love to hear about your wedding plans, makeup inspirations and your chosen venue.

  • When should I secure my date with Grace?

Grace gets booked one to two years in advance so it’s advised to get in touch with Grace as soon as you are ready to start looking into your bridal makeup artist. If Grace’s diary isn’t open yet, she’ll have a waiting list that you can be added to, and you’ll be the first to know when it opens.

Grace also has a Pro Team, who are all a similar vibe and style to Grace and often work on behalf of her when she is already booked.

  • When should I book my bridal preview?

Grace knows as a bride you already have plenty of ‘wedmin’ to keep on top of. She likes to take away the stress of thinking about booking your preview by getting in touch with you 3-6 months before the wedding. She provides you with a calendar of dates and times, and you can select the best one for you. There is always room for flexability as well.

Grace holds her previews at her studio in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, on weekdays within working hours.

  • What's in Grace's kit?

What’s not in Grace’s kit? Grace continues to keep up to date with new makeup and skincare launches and makes additions to her kit after trying and testing products to see if they work for brides and their bridal parties.

Grace also has old favourites that she uses all the time after years of experience, knowing what works to make someone feel great in person, but what works for photography also.

You’ll find luxury brands in her kit such as Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, Giorgio Armani, YSL, By Terry, Chantecaille, Rare Beauty, Nars, Laura Mercier and MAC just to name a few.
